Our platform currently supports fundraiser creation in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. This means you must be able to fulfill all requirements for a transfer of funds within the country you reside in order to create a fundraiser.

Please also note that Give A Hand does not support fundraisers within these U.S. territories: American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

In order to receive the funds from your Give A Hand fundraiser, you’ll need to meet several requirements. You’ll find the list of requirements below, but please know that our payment processor, Stripe, may require additional documentation to verify bank info, identities, and more.

Requirements to receive funds:

• A government-issued driver’s license, state I.D., or passport
• A residential address within the country selected (this cannot be a PO box)
• A phone number belonging to the country of residence
• A bank account in your name located in your country
• A United States SSN or ITIN (or equivalent for other countries)
• Must be 18 years of age or older

You’ll need to provide and verify bank account information for fund transfers to a personal bank account.

Give A Hand proudly has a 0% platform fee for organizers. This means it costs nothing to create and host a fundraiser on our platform. We rely on the generosity of donors to operate our service safely, securely, and for a 0% platform fee, which is why we include the option to add a service tip when donating.
